The Sage Gateshead

The Sage Gateshead is the new £70 million, Norman Foster designed music centre on the banks of the Tyne. Primarily a live music venue, The Sage Gateshead houses two acoustically outstanding performance spaces, numerous rehearsal rooms, recording studios and bars and cafes. The Sage Gateshead is pioneering a fresh approach to musical discovery that enables everyone to become involved in, stimulated and excited by music - no matter what their age or ability.

Since 2001 (three years before the building was completed), Consilience Media have provided photography and design for The Sage Gateshead. During this time we have provided photographic services for workshops, events and concerts (such as the 2006 International Jazz Festival and WOMEX 2005), as well as design and print of marketing materials (such as exhibition stands, leaflets and posters).

Additionally, in 2004 we produced an e-newsletter for staff and partners of the Learning & Participation Dept.
