Alreet.com - graphics and branding
Consilience Media created the branding and graphics for 'alreet.com', a pioneering community youth website commissioned by Newcastle City Council and developed by North East web developer Chris Maines.
Alreet.com is an online meeting place for young people who live and study in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne. Facilities include forums for discssing current topics, news and events, and novel features such as free text messaging and a ringtone composer. 'Alreet' means 'okay' in the local Geordie dialect.
As well as creating a striking animated flash logo for the site, Consilience Media designed the youth-oriented style and layout of the website. We also provided promotional leaflets and posters to coincide with the site's launch.
