SiLC Vision Statement: To develop, and maintain a high quality unifying qualification for the assessment of the condition and remediation of brownfield sites which fulfils the needs of public and private sectors and society as a whole.
Consilience Media designed and developed the SiLC (Specialist in Land Condition) website, based around the Xaraya Content Managment System framework.
Features that make this site stand out include:
- A searchable register of SiLC assessors (consultants), automatically updated hourly from the Integra CRM (supplied by Iris) that the client owns. This has involved writing a bespoke module for the CRM to deliver the consultant details through an XML feed. This module will be extended as further registers are developed.
- The usual news feeds and login areas for administrators and editors to add and update content.
